Shepherd of Fire
The leader of The Flock and Vesperia's spymaster.
Weight: 168 lbs.
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Eye Color: Green
Skin Color: Tan
As “Raven”, his hair is kept in a ponytail and he wears a purple, black, and yellow robe over his clothing. As Schwann Oltorain, his real name, he has his hair down and wears an orange, white, and red duelist’s outfit.
“Raven” is by and large not a very serious man. He jokes often, makes many sarcastic remarks, and laughs in the face of danger. However, if one of the members of the Flock is injured or worse, he becomes very bleak and does everything in his power to get whoever caused the damage into prison or a coffin. Schwann Oltorain is just as serious, though he cares much less about the assassins from the Shadows of the Crown.
Little is known about Schwann Oltorain other than that he is the leader of the Shadows of the Crown, an assassin’s guild who work strictly for the nobility. He has another personality known as Raven, who is the leader of a gang of thieves known as The Flock. Which came first is unknown; by this point, even Schwann/Raven has forgotten. Members of both the Flock and the Shadows of the Crown have differing stories of when the respective personalities of Schwann came to be their leader. The Flock claims that they were founded by Raven when he was 16. The Shadows of the Crown say that Schwann started off as a low-ranking assassin at the age of 16 and became their leader nine years later.
Split Personality Cure
Schwann eventually found a way to fix his multiple personality disorder. He sent Himaestro, Oskar, Aelar, and Kriven to Clockwork Mechanus to speak with Primus, its leader. Primus sent them to Limbo to find a mask which could cure mental diseases and disorders. They found it, brought it to Schwann, and used it to merge the personalities of Raven and Schwaan Oltorain. Now, Schwann plans to slowly disassemble the Shadows of the Crown while building up the Flock.
Battle Against Cult of Cthulhu and New Light
Schwann Oltorain continues to battle against the Cult of Cthulhu while gathering information on members of the New Light, particularly lieutenants. He also helped Rita develop a special sobriety concoction to bring Oskar Battlehammer out of his three year drunken slumber. His assassins eliminate cultists from both the Cult of Cthulhu and New Light, along with sabotaging their rituals and hide outs.
Since much of Schwann’s personal life is unknown, his relationships are a mystery. It is no secret that Raven cares greatly for all members of the Flock and treats them as family. In addition, he has two adoptive daughters, a pair of twins named Gauche and Droite, who act as his messengers. Schwann himself has no known family and is less protective of his assassins.
